Access points to New Mexico State Trust Lands were collected by NMDGF Officers. The method used for creating most points was by dropping placemarks in Google Earth at a specified eye altitude (eye alt <= 10000 ft), Individual placemarks were added for each known access point using a standard naming convention (an alternative method was to provide waypoints collected by GPS devices). Placemarks were then exported to kml format and converted to Shapefile format using DNRGPS. Access points have been checked by NM State Land Office staff. |
